Man Shot Dead on Brookway Terrace in Roslindale

One person was shot dead tonight at 20 Brookway Terrace in Roslindale around 8:30 p.m. 

A spokesperson for the Boston Police Department Media Relations Department confirmed that an adult male had been shot dead, and there were no other victims found at this time. 

No other information was available at this time, according to the spokesperson.

Brian D'Amico tweeted at 8:34 p.m.: "Boston MA - Man shot in the head at 20 Brookway Terrace (Roslindale)" followed with "U/D Boston - Victim prounouced on scene, detectives & ballistic K9 responding. Units checking for POSSIBLE 2nd victim (info from the caller)"

Adam Gaffin of UniversalHub tweeted: "Bradeen Street, from which a path leads to Archdale, being shut down."

Gaffin also tweeted that the shooting was in the Archdale Housing area, which last had a murder in June of 2011.
