Man with GPS Ankle Bracelet Charged with Disturbing the Peace at Crime Scene in Roslindale

Boston Police arrested a Roslindale man wearing a GPS anke bracelet after he allegedly walked through an active crime scene, telling police he can do whatever he wants.

On Dec. 18 around 7:30 p.m., Mustafa Alzobier, of 993 South St., Roslindale, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace.

Boston Police Drug Control Unit members were at an active crime scene at the intersection of Ainsworth and South streets, according to a Boston Police report. Police observed the suspect walk into the crime scene, and an officer informed the man he could not do that because it was an active crime scene. 

The suspect allegedly shouted at the officer, "Who are you, do you live here?" The officer told the suspect several times to exit the crime scene, however the suspect allegedly became belligerent yelling, "I can do what the (expletive) I want, I live here." Officers noted neighbors in the area were watching the suspect while he was shouting, according to a Boston Police report.

The suspect was told to leave the scene immediately, and he did not, thus he was arrested. During the booking process, police discovered the suspect had a GPS ankle bracelet and Roxbury Court Probation was contacted. After information the probation department of the incident they allegedly issued a warrant for temporary custody for violating his probation.
