Murder Victim Identified in Brookway Terrace Shooting in Roslindale

The victim of a shooting death on Christmas on Brookway Terrace in Roslindale has been identified as Jarvis Gilmore, 22, of Roslindale.

The Boston Police Department posted a Facebook update to the shooting that occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, around the area of 20 Brookway Terrace.

Police said that on arrival officers Gilmore suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. 

The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
