Upon arrival to the Archdale Housing area police saw the victim running barefoot with his sister after the suspect, according to a Boston Police report. The victim was yelling, "He stole my bike! He stole my bike!" While waiting for backup, the victim took off in an unknown direction to look for his motor bike.

Police located the victim's mother at 80 Archdale Road, and she told officers her son was in the back of the building and had gotten his motor bike back. Police saw the victim securing his bike, and also a yellow lock and wire cutter that were held for evidence.

Both the suspect and the victim were present, said police. The suspect identified himself to police and said, "That's my boy, I took it to get some gas." At that time police conducted a pat-frisk of the suspect and and found a wirecutter in the suspect's pants pocket. Police observed what looked like prymarks on the lock, according to a Boston Police report.

The victim told police he was sleeping when a relative awoke him saying his motor bike was being stolen, which is when he grabbed a knife inhand and ran after the suspect down the street. He was able to get his motor bike back from the suspect. While the victim talked to police, the suspect yelled out to the victim, "Yo, you lost your key, right?"

Police asked the victim if he knew the suspect, and he said he only knew him from seeing him on the street.

While officers were escorting the suspect to the cruiser, the suspect allegedly repeatedly said, "You don't know who you're messing with." Officers believed this statement to be a threat. The suspect also allegedly said during booking, "You're getting on my bad side, you wouldn't like it getting on my bad side."
