Undercover Drug Control Unit officers were surveilling the parking lot at 4600 Washington St., a known area for drug transactions when they observed the suspect park his vehicle next to another vehicle with one occupant. The other person got out of his car and allegedly received something from the suspect, who was still sitting in his car. The two then parted ways, and Boston Police stopped the suspect's vehicle as he started to leave the lot.
Officers who stopped the alleged purchaser's vehicle said that suspect voluntarily produced two plastic bags of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, according to a Boston Police report. That suspect allegedly told police he had purchased the cocaine from a guy named Hector for $100, and then showed Hector's phone number in his cellphone to police. That suspect will be summonsed to West Roxbury District Court for possession of a class B substance.
