Roslindale Man to Police: 'I'll Ask the Questions Bitch'

A Roslindale man was charged with disturbing the peace after he was allegedly confronational and uncooperative with Boston Police on Brookway Road.

On April 18 around 11 p.m., David Padilla, of 60 Brookway Terrace, Roslindale, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, according to a Boston Police report.

Police were called to an apartment at 60 Brookway Road for a breaking and entering, and spoke with the victim who said her door was open, but there was no break in. The victim allegedly told police she thought one of her sons may have been involved, according to a Boston Police report.

A detective was informed that one of the victim's sons was on a bench outside the property and he approached the suspect, Padilla, to conduct a threshold inquiry. When asked for his name and date of birth, the suspect immediately stated he was being accused of breaking into the apartment. The detective said he was investigating, to which the suspect allegedly said, "I'll ask the questions bitch."

At that time about 10 people exited from 60 Brookway Road to observe what was happening, according to a Boston Police report. Two Boston Police detectives then allegedly had the suspect walk away from the area where people were congregating, all the while the suspect had his hand clenched within his jacket. The suspect allegedly refused to remove his hands from his jacket despite multiple requests. 

The suspect was thus placed under arrest for disturbing the peace.
