- The Roslindale Village Farmers' Market season continues on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. At 10 a.m. there will be children's activities with Kasey Appleman and live music by MC3 at 11 a.m. Adams Park. And of course, lots of fresh produce!
- On Sunday Sip Dip and Dabble will be at Select Cafe from 2 to 4 p.m. Click here for tickets. Sip Dip and Dabble is an art party where you, your family, and your friends can go to create your own art! All art supplies are provided by Sip Dip and Dabble. No previous experience required. 2 Belgrade Ave.
- On Saturday there will be a surprise party for Steve O'Malley thrown by the Roslindale Board of Trade. O'Malley, the owner of MJ's Pizza on Belgrade Avenue, surprised the community by retiring recently. Steve will be surprised with a Hawaiian Luau Celebration at the Knights of Columbus, 4192 Washington St., Roslindale from 6-10 p.m. Coordinated by Michael Tobin, Lisa Modecker, Judie Leon, John Sullivan, Steve's family, friends, Boston Police District Area E-5, colleagues and members of the Roslindale and West Roxbury community. O'Malley worked for 37 years in the West Roxbury and Roslindale community, so join him for a memorable fun-filled evening with food, live entertainment and lots of laughs. Bring cheers, toasts, poems, pictures and good tidings, but please let it all be part of the surprise (and yes, this is a posting on a public website, so go figure). Dress casual, Hawaiian shirts and flip flops are proper attire. $15 donation. Proceeds go to the RBT Charity Fund. Tickets available at Travel By Judie! To make a food donation, presentation, or donation or other party contribution call Judie Leon at 617-469-4500. Tickets will be sold by RBT Officers, John Sullivan and at Travel By Judie.
