Victim in Hospital After Brook Street Shooting in Roslindale

Boston Police are investigating two shootings that happened in the last 24 hours on two Roslindale neighboring streets.

 

A male victim was rushed to an area hospital this morning after being shot at 3 Brook Street in Roslindale.

Boston Police responded to the scene at 9:05 a.m., and initial reports suggest that the shooter fled in a black Chevy Malibu with New Jersey plates, which could not be confirmed by Boston Police at this time.

The victim was taken with life-threatening injuries, said Officer Katherine Shea.

Shea also confirmed that Boston Police responded to a possible fight with gunfire at 56 Mt. Hope St. in Roslindale last night around 9:49 p.m., which is one street over from this morning's shooting.

Police spoke with two people who said they didn't see any fight, and a resident of the property said he wasn't home during the time of the alleged fight.

But police found two spent gun casings, one on the driveway, and one on the street.
