Before you start your Friday, here are 5 things you need to know.

3. Have a hankering for some babkas? today from 2 to 5 p.m. at the church. This bake sale will have several varieties of Easter breads, rolls (nut, poppyseed, apricot, prune, and more), seasonal baked goods, and desserts.

5. Just a friendly reminder that Monday is a holiday and trash will be delayed one day. Street sweeping, however, will be. For you ambitious readers who have already started working on your lawns -- the next yard waste day collection is the week April 25 - 29. Leave your yard waste out on the sale day as your trash day.
