$80K Salem State, North Shore CC Grants To Benefit 200 Students
The state Dual Enrollment Program grants are designed to expand early college work experiences.
SALEM, MA — Two hundred students on the North Shore are set to benefit from state higher education Dual Enrollment Program grants awarded to Salem State University and North Shore Community College.
State Sen. Joan Lovely said $80,000 in grants were awarded in the Second Essex District with 130 Salem State and 70 North Shore CC students set to share in them.
Each school was awarded $70,000.

"Exposure to college coursework early can be transformational for students as they explore new opportunities for learning and career development, and I am pleased that this funding will allow hundreds of students to be able to take advantage of our high-quality college programming here in the Commonwealth," Sen. Lovely said.
