Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Rumbarroco
The baroque-latin fusion performance takes place at the Salem Athenaeum on May 7.

Salem, MA - To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Laury Guttiérez leads a diverse ensemble from the Cambridge Society of Early Music in a fusion of European Baroque music and lively New World elements, with African rhythms, using early and traditional instruments (viola da gamba, guitar, percussion) and voices.
The Rumbarroco Baroque-Latin Fusion performance takes place on Saturday, May 7 at 8 p.m. at the Salem Athenaeum on Essex Street.
Improvisational, jazzy riffs add their razzle dazzle. There will be guest artists from Mexico and Venezuela, and a captivating dancer.
