Curt Stole a Pair of Eight Dollar Sunglasses

Washington Street resident reports sunglasses stolen by guy hanging out with her named Curt.

Salem, MA - It was probably not a case destined for the major case squad on Washington Street on Sunday evening as police investigated a report of a pair of $8 sunglasses stolen by Curt.

Shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday, officers arrived at a Washington Street apartment for a report of a larceny.

When the officers arrived, they spoke with a resident who said she was hanging out with a man in her apartment who stole her sunglasses she got on sale for $8 at the Family Dollar store.

The woman said she only knew him by the name of Curt and that she thought he lived in the building next door.

Officers looked on the mailboxes in the area to see if they could find one with the name Curt on it to no avail.

Police advised the woman that she might want to choose her company better and to contact them if she found out a full name for the person who stole her $8 sunglasses.
