Dog 'Arrest' And More From The Salem Police Log

An officer "apprehended" a runaway dog, a man allegedly verbally abused a coffee shop employee, and more from the Salem Police log.

Barry Edmond Bullock, 59, and John J. Lapointe, 58, both of Salem, were arrested on charges of trespassing on March 6 around 11:30 p.m. in East India Square.

Rachel Marie Mazola, 22, of Lynn, was arrested on March 7 around 3:00 p.m. on charges of shoplifting from Highland Avenue.

Kyle P. Callahan, 28, of Lynn, was arrested on March 8 around 3 a.m. on charges of possession of a class B drug on Roslyn Street after a report of a fight.

Thomas R. Gillis, 52, of Peabody, was arrested on March 8, around 7 p.m., on charges of possession of heroin on School Street.

Police put a man in protective custody last Wednesday after he almost fell into the front pond of the hospital on Highland Avenue around 5 p.m.

Kathy Ann Sheehan, 62, of Swampscott, was arrested on charges of violating a city ordinance regarding drinking alcoholic beverages in public, and disorderly conduct last Friday around 8 p.m. after police were called to Loring Avenue on a report of a car accident.

Kyle Cournielis Terry, 31, of Salem, was arrested last Friday morning on charges of malicious destruction of property, breaking and entering in the nighttime, and larceny from a building.

A man allegedly yelled at a Washington Street Dunkin' Donuts employee last Saturday around 2 a.m. after she told him he couldn't use the bathroom. The man left when she said she would call police.

Jamie Christopher Speicher, 28, of Salem, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest last Sunday in East India Square after police responded to a report of an unwanted guest around 5 p.m.

Cristian Salazar, 36, of the Bronx, New York, was arrested on charges of a marked lanes violation, speeding, and drunken driving on Monday around 4:30 a.m. after a report of an accident on Leavitt Street.

A dog named Hooch was reunited with the pup's owner, after police apprehended the dog on Ocean Avenue on Monday around 5:30 p.m.
