Fashion Show Benefits Salem Arts Festival

The annual fashion show takes place on Friday, April 8 this year.

Salem, MA - Join Salem Main Streets for the third annual Salem Arts Festival Fashion Show Fundraiser for a night of local food, fashion, drink, dancing, and fun in support of one of Salem’s great festivals. The event will be held upstairs at the historic Old Town Hall at 32 Derby Square on Friday, April 8 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“The Fashion Show gets bigger and better every year, and it’s the perfect way to introduce the renewed energy behind the Arts Festival,” says Kylie Sullivan, Executive Director of Salem Main Streets, the community non-profit organization which oversees the festival. “The need for financial support is critical for the success of the festival, which annually welcomes over 5,000 attendees to downtown Salem over the first weekend in June. We are committed to keeping the festival free and open to the public, but that means we need to raise some substantial funds.”

The Fashion Show, hosted by local comedian and Salem Comedy & Spirits Festival founder Mark Scalia, highlights a growing number of local boutiques - including Modern Millie Vintage & Consignments, The Boutique, Ocean Chic Boutique & Waterbar, TBT Post, Avalanche, RJ Coins & Jewelry, Lifebridge’s Second Chance Thrift Shop, and more. Make up will be provided by the fabulous artists at Laura Lanes Skin Care and Rouge Cosmetics. DJ Noel Snow and a number of other local performers will be on hand to set the scene and get you on the dance floor. Local food, drink, and a great raffle make the evening complete.
