SALEM, MA — Salem police seized nearly four dozen grams of methamphetamine and fentanyl pills disguised as Adderall and Percocet, and charged two Salem men with drug trafficking, during a bust at a Lafayette Street apartment earlier this month, police said on Thursday.

Salem police said a warrant search of the apartment was the "culmination of a lengthy drug investigation related to drug sales from the residence" and led to the seizure of more than 40 grams of meth and seven grams of fentanyl, along with a stun gun and $1,200 in cash.

"Of note, the methamphetamine and fentanyl were packaged in pill form disguised as Adderall and Percocet," police said. "This form of manufacturing and distribution has become quite common in New England."
