Final Curbside Yard Waste Pickup This Week in Salem
The third and final curbside yard waste pickup in Salem will happen during the first week of December.

The final curbside yard waste pick up of the season in Salem is this week.
The pickup will run from Monday, Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 5. The pickup will happen on the the typical trash day and does not affect curbside compost collection.
Yard waste, including leaves and grass clippings, will be picked up curbside in brown paper yard waste bags or uncovered garbage cans curbside.

The following items will be accepted:
- Lawn clippings and leaves
- Brush, plants and branches not longer than 4 feet or wider than 4 inches and bundled

- Tree stumps or logs
There has already been two pickup weeks so far this fall - in October and November. This is the final pickup of the year.
Residents can always drop off yard waste at the transfer station at 9 Swampscott Road weekdays from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
