'Implemented A Plan Of Action': Salem Local Hero
We all know someone who's making a difference. Let's help share their amazing stories! Presented by Ring.

SALEM, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. But rarely do they get the spotlight they deserve. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've begun an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.
This submission comes from Joyce E. Greer, who nominated Hilary Linehan for organizing a drive that provided more than 10,000 face masks to the Salem community through the Highrock North Shore Church. Members of the church handmade cloth masks through drives that were advertised on the city Facebook page.

"Hilary saw a public health need and implemented a plan of action," Greer said.
Thank you for all you do, Hilary.
