Salem Votes 2025: Candidates, Deadlines, Where To Vote
This year's ballot includes contested races for City Council and School Committee.

SALEM, MA — Salem voters will go to the polls on Nov. 4 to elect a mayor for a full four-year term, as well as members to serve on the City Council and School Committee.
Dominick Pangallo is running unopposed on the ballot for his first four-year term after winning a special election to fill out the remainder of Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll's term after she won her race for statewide office in 2022.
Salem will have contested races for City Council.

The following poll locations will be used for the 2025 election. Polls are open on Nov. 4 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Vote By-Mail
Vote By Mail Applications or written requests must be received by the City Clerk’s office no later than 5 p.m. on Oct. 28. Ballots were to be mailed once the application is received. Those who have already sent an application requesting all elections for 2025 will automatically be sent a ballot for all 2025 elections.
Ballots must be received in the City Clerk’s office no later than 8 p.m. on Nov. 4 to be counted. Ballots must be brought to the City Clerk’s Office Room #5 or use a drop box before 8 p.m.

Fire Station #2, 142 North Street
Ballot drop boxes will be closed on Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. and will reopen on Nov. 1 at 11 a.m.
There is no early, in-person voting for the 2025 municipal election.
