Police responded to a call of someone trying to steal a cell phone on Feb. 5, on Essex Street, but the victim had walked away before filing a report.
Police arrested Denise M. Amundsen, 51, of Salem, on charges of trespassing, and disorderly conduct last Tuesday on Derby Street after police responded to a report of an unwanted guest.
Okor Samuel Obashi, 20, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of fail to stop or yield, and unlicensed driving last Tuesday around 2 a.m. on Loring Avenue.

Brian Joseph Watts, 21, of Ipswich, was arrested on charges of possession of class B, C, and E drugs, and violating the city's knife ordinance last Monday after police responded to a report of someone possibly breaking into cars on Pleasant Street.
Officers responded to a Jefferson Avenue building on a report of someone that may have climbed into the third-floor bathroom and locked the door last Monday. Police did not find anyone in the bathroom.

A city-owned vehicle slid into a utility pole on Intervale Road last Tuesday afternoon while sanding the roads, damaging both the vehicle and the pole.
Police responded to a car accident on Mason Street last Wednesday when a car hit a patch of ice on Tremont Street. The driver slid across Mason Street and hit a stop sign, knocking it down and damaging the car. There were no injuries reported.
Officers took a report of another car that couldn't stop on the ice on Bridge Street on Wednesday morning. One car was pulling out of a driveway, when an oncoming car tried to stop, but slid on the ice, hitting the car in the driveway and pushing it up onto the sidewalk.
A school bus was hit by a car after it had slid on the ice sideways into a different parked car at Butler and Nichols streets on Wednesday around 6:30 a.m. There was one student on board, but no injuries were reported.
Rudy Hernandez, 42, of Salem, was arrested on charges of assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and disturbing the peace last Thursday after a report of a fight on Lafayette Street around 9:30 p.m.
Katherina A. Alves, 22, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest on Sunday after a report of a noise complaint around 9:30 a.m.
David K. Moore, Jr., 57, of Salem, was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace on Saturday after police responded to a report of a fight on Margin Street around 6 p.m.
Police responded to a report of a car stuck in a snowbank, and found a man passed out behind the wheel of a running car in gear on Sunday around 3 a.m. John J. Okeefe, 50, of Chelsea, was arrested on charges of drunken driving.
David J. Pezzulo, 59, of Salem, was arrested on charges of attempting to commit a crime on Sunday around 4 a.m. after police responded to Looney Avenue on a report of an attempted car break in.
Jonathan Pillot, 35, of Middleton, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest on Saturday after a report of a fight on Pope Street around 7 p.m.
Police received a report of a Jeep taken from the Waterfront Hotel on Sunday at 1:45 a.m. Jessica Sindo, 28, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of motor vehicle larceny and driving with a suspended license.
