Gun Fire Investigated on Palmer Street
Spent shell casings were found in the street after residents reported hearing several gunshots.

Police are investigating several possible gunshots on a Salem street on Tuesday afternoon.
Detectives were called to Palmer Street at 12:41 p.m. for the report of possible gun shots in the area. Several residents in the area told police they heard 5-6 gunshots in the area.
Palmer Street runs between Congress and Lafayette streets in The Point neighborhood.

Officers arrived to find six spent shell casings. Investigators took photos of the scene and collected evidence. No arrests were made.
Detectives were in the area until 1:23 p.m. investigating.
