Woman Struck And Killed By MBTA Commuter Rail Train In Salem
Police say the woman had been trespassing on the tracks when she was hit.

SALEM, MA — Police say a woman was struck and killed by a Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority outbound commuter tail train.
Officers were called to the scene around 5 p.m. Sunday and said a woman had died as a result of the injuries she sustained after being hit.
An initial investigation found the woman had been trespassing on the tracks and no foul play is currently suspected.
