Convenience Store Owner Shot And Killed In Fall River: DA
Massachusetts State Police are actively investigating a homicide that happened in Fall River Monday night.
FALL RIVER, MA — The owner of a convenience store in Fall River was shot and killed Monday night.
Fall River Police were called to the Rock Street Stop N Save convenience store just after 10:30 p.m. after receiving word that a man had been shot inside, the Bristol District Attorney's Office said.
The 911 caller told police they entered the store to buy food when they found the clerk on the floor behind the counter with blood on his chest.

The owner, Lal Kishor Mahaseth, 54, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after 11 p.m., the DA's Office said.
The DA's Office said police are treating this case as a homicide and are asking anyone with information to contact Fall River police at (508) 676-8511.
