Back To School: Shrewsbury 2025-2026 School Calendar

SHREWSBURY, MA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Shrewsbury, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day.

The first day of school for most students in Shrewsbury is August 27. The first day of school for kindergarteners and preschoolers is August 28.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for the 2025-2026 year:

Calendar:

First Day: August 27 (Grades 1-12 & RISE), August 28 (Kindergarten & Preschool)

Thanksgiving Break: November 26 to November 28

December Vacation: December 24 to January 2

Winter Vacation: February 16 to February 20

Spring Break: April 20 to April 24

Last Day: June 12 (if no snow days)
