Callers Report Dumpster Fire, Brush Fire, Suspicious Dirt Bikes

Friday, May 3

10:24 a.m.: The Animal Control Officer retrieved a loose German shepherd on Lake Street.

2:07 p.m.: Officers responded to a domestic incident at Shrewsbury Green Drive. The couple was having an argument of child support.

4:16 p.m.: A caller reported a hit and run on Holden Street. Officers were able to contact everyone involved.

4:55 p.m.: An officer responded to the Goodyear on Boston Turnpike and arrested John Fiske, 59, of 14 Gould St., Apt. A, Wakefield on warrant charges of using a bad check and several motor vehicle violations.

5:43 p.m.: A caller reported suspicious vehicles on Holden Street. Officers responded and spoke with dirt bike and ATV riders in the area. One unclaimed dirt bike was towed back to the station.

8:53 p.m.: Officers confiscated marijuana from three people at Dunkin Donuts on Boston Trunpike.

Saturday, May 4

2:10 a.m.: A 911 caller reported a dumpster fire at the White City Shopping Center.

2:21 p.m.: Officers arrested Yohane Kofi Oppong-Afful, 21, of 17 Glendale Ave. Charges are unclear at this time.

3:33 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a female yelling at the Worcester City Motel. Tammy Filgate, 38, of 235 Boston Turnpike was arrested on warrant charges of possession of marijuana, two counts of driving under the influence and operating with a suspended license.

1:52 p.m.: A caller from Building 19 reported two females causing a disturbance. An employee handled the situation prior to police arrival. Half an hour later the same two females returned and were spoken to by an officer.

4:31 p.m.: An officer assisted the Shrewsbury Fire Department with a brush fire on Ryan Road.
