Open In Shrewsbury: New Branch Of Regional Bank On Main Street
The relatively new central Massachusetts bank opened its 11th location in Shrewsbury Monday.
SHREWSBURY, MA — The 11th Cornerstone Bank branch in Massachusetts opened in Shrewsbury Monday in a brand-new building along Main Street.
Construction at 195 Main St. branch began in July, taking over the parcel once occupied by TMC Materials. The branch, designed by Solidus, features two drive-thru lanes with ATMs, electric vehicle charging stations, banking and investment services and a coffee bar for customers.
Cornerstone formed in 2017 after a merger of SpencerBANK and Southbridge Savings Bank, which had both been in operation since the mid-19th Century. The bank has branches located between Warren and Worcester, with the Shrewsbury branch its easternmost location.

The Shrewsbury branch will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
