Avoid contact with all surface waters in these areas. The water will be tested until there is no longer a threat to the public health.

SHREWSBURY, MA—Seems it's not a great idea to go swimming in Lake Quinsig yet.
The City of Worcester Department of Inspectional Services and Health Inspections Division in conjunction with both the Worcester Division of Public Health and the Town of Shrewsbury Board of Health is issuing a Public Health Advisory urging the public to avoid contact with the water at Lake Quinsigamond, specifically Browning Beach, Regatta Point Beach, the vicinity of the Lake Ave pump station and The Marine Corps League.
Avoid contact with all surface waters in these areas. The water will be tested until there is no longer a threat to the public health.
