SHREWSBURY, MA—Voters turned out for the Massachusetts state primary election on Tuesday, Sept. 4, electing state representatives, state senators, councillors, sheriffs and other state positions.
The polls were open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There were 4,064 votes cast, representing 17.17 percent of the town's 23,674 registered voters.
