Ground Round To Make Long-Awaited Return To Shrewsbury: Report
The restaurant chain is returning to the town at a new location.
SHREWSBURY, MA — After a two-decade hiatus, a Shrewsbury staple is set to return to the town’s restaurant landscape, according to a report from MassLive.
The Ground Round is slated to re-open at a new location on 271 Grafton St., as it previously stood at 225 on The Boston Turnpike. The American-style restaurant chain also has locations in Ohio and North Dakota.
According to MassLive, owners Nachi and Joseph Shea hope to have the eatery opened before the end of January 2025.
