Hebert's Car Show Open for the Summer

A 13-year-old sure sign of summer is alive in well at Hebert's Candies in Shrewsbury. 

Local residents bring their antique cars to the candy mansion every summer to show them off to fellow car enthusiasts and area families keen on enjoying ice cream while taking in the vehicular display. 

Dominic Masiello and Mike Merzigian have organized the show since 2005, and regularly see vehicles from all over New England arriving at Hebert's for the show. 

"We see cars from Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Connecticut," Masiello said. "The best part is the people. You meet some great people here."
