Hooters Shrewsbury To Remain Open Following Corporate Bankruptcy
The Hooters in Shrewsbury is expected to remain open, as a cloud of uncertainty surrounds the restaurant chain.
SHREWSBURY, MA - Shrewsbury's Hooters fans need not worry. The iconic restaurant chain's location in Central Massachusetts is expected to remain open, according to its own Facebook post.
"Our location will NOT be impacted by the recent news," Hooters Shrewsbury wrote. "We remain dedicated to bringing your community the Hooters experience you know and love."
The news comes amidst a potential bankruptcy filing, as those familiar with the proceedings say the chain is working with a law firm to prepare such a move.

For now, the Shrewsbury spot will continue serving up wings and other classic bar foods. Located at 291 Boston Tpke., its hours are 12-11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12 p.m.-12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
