SHREWSBURY — Tropical Storm Ida has caused major flooding in some of the town's parks.

Staff are working on checking all areas but be advised some locations may be closed until the water level recedes and areas are repaired.

These areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Dean Park roads ways - some areas closed
  • Greylock Park - playground closed due to flooding of surfacing
  • Corazini Boat Ramp - limited access due to docks being raised out of the water due to height of the water level.
