In Court: Officer Bitten and IHOP Dispute
The following cases were heard at Westbroough District Court.

Monday, June 4:
John H. Marhefka, 26, of 235 Boston Turnpike, Apt. 224, Shrewsbury, was summonsed to court on a complaint Jan. 26 by Shrewsbury police and charged with unarmed robbery. Judge Vito Virzi dismissed the case.
Brendan T. Horgan, 35, of 1047 South St., Fitchburg, was arrested Jan. 17 by State Police in Shrewsbury and charged with OUI liquor, driving negligently, marked lanes violation and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Judge Virzi continued the case to June 4.

Derek M. Jameson, 40, of 26 Hillside Ave., Worcester was summonsed to court by Shrewsbury police on a complaint March 19 and charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. Judge Virzi continued the case to June 15.
Ediz M. Pelevan, 32, of 7 Ash Lane, Dudley, was summonsed to court by Shrewsbury police on a complaint March 19 and charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving with a suspended registration. Judge Virzi continued the case to June 4.

Anibal A. Lopez-Rodriguez, 19, of 23 Forbes St., Worcester, was summonsed to court on a complaint April 21 by Shrewsbury police and charged with being a person under 21 in possession of liquor, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Judge Virzi found sufficient facts on the first charge and continued the case without a finding to Dec. 4. He also found sufficient facts on the second charge and placed her on probation until Dec. 4. He dismissed the third charge.
Tuesday June 5:
Cody T. Riekstins, 20, of 151 Oak St., Clinton, was summonsed to court on a complaint issued May 24 by Shrewsbury police and charged with receiving stolen property, larceny from a building and larceny over $250. Judge Virzi continued the case to June 22.
Wednesday, June 6:
Eric Phelan, 29, of 29 Hillcroft Ave., Worcester, was summonsed to court on a complaint June 4 by Shrewsbury police and charged with driving with a suspended registration, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield and possession of a class D drug with intent to distribute. Judge Steven Thomas continued the case to July 13.
Michael A. Giangrande, 21, of 26 Malvern Rd. Apt. 3, Worcester, was arrested Jan. 31 by Shrewsbury police and charged with larceny from a building and larceny over $250 by a single scheme. Judge Thomas dismissed the first charge. He found sufficient facts on the second charge, placed him on probation to June 3, 2014 and ordered him to perform 20 hours of community service and to pay $550 in fees.

Thursday, June 7:
William F. Rigere, 51, of 366B Lake St., Shrewsbury, was was summonsed to court on a complaint June 7 by Northborough police and charged with shoplifting and larceny under $250. Judge Locke continued the case to July 2.
