Let Your Spirit Sacrifice Community Fundraiser For Fire, PD

This fundraiser is a good time and raises money for the families of firefighters and police officers who have to pay for funerals.

SHREWSBURY, MA—The Shrewsbury Fire and Police Relief Association was established in the 1940s, and it is just as viable today.

The association helps police and fire departments help their fellow colleagues' families with expenses related to funerals and memorials.

"Let Your Spirit Sacrifice," an event held on Thursday, Sept. 27, raises funds for the association. The event, which takes place 7-10 p.m. at the Ski Ward in Shrewsbury includes a deejay, cash bar and food from Struck Catering.
