Little Dog Snatched By Coyote In Shrewsbury
A family let its pet out and shortly after a coyote snatched it away.

SHREWSBURY, MA—It's easily one of an animal lover's worst nightmare. Tuesday night when a woman let her little dog out in the backyard, it was never to be seen again, according to reports.
The woman let her five-pound Maltese dog named Katie in the back yard around 10:30 p.m. only to see the little pet snatched by a coyote a short time later, reports CBS News.
The dog owner yelled at the coyote to try to scare it off, but it ran off with the dog.

The owner hopes it will serve as a warning to other dog owners, reports WCVB-TV.
The 11-year-old dog was being walked off leash in the yard on Surrey Lane when it was snatched by the wild animal, reports the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. The family lives between conservation property and the cemetery.
