Mark Wahlberg To Film New Movie In Shrewsbury This Fall: Report
Here's when the Dorchester native will be in town.
SHREWSBURY, MA — One of the most famous actors to come from the Bay State is making an appearance in Shrewsbury this fall.
Mark Wahlberg will be in town to shoot his new movie "Cheesesteak" on Oct. 8, according to the Community Advocate. The superstar will be filming at Flynn's Truck Stop, at 708 Grafton Street, from 3 to 6 p.m.

The newspaper reported that the production's location crew asked local officials for permission to close roads. The area near Flynn's will be closed, but traffic on Route 20 will be allowed to pass.
