Mosquito Spraying Exclusions Due Soon

The Shrewsbury Board of Health is now taking requests for pesticide application exclusions.

EEE and West Nile were found across the MetroWest area last year even with the regular widespread pesticide sprayings.

This year the town and the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project are going to be doing the same pesticide sprayings in hopes to control the mosquito and gypsy moth populations.

Landowners in town are allowed to exclude their property from public area applications of the pesticides by submitting their name, address, phone number and the names of all abutters to the Board of Health by March 31.
