Closing: Oak Street In Shrewsbury Shutting Down For Water Main Replacement
A section of the road starting at Route 9 will be closed to through-traffic for four days.

SHREWSBURY, MA — A main road in Shrewsbury will be closed this week due to a water main replacement project.
From Tuesday until Friday, Oak Street will be closed to through traffic from Route 9 south to Redland Street. The main water main work will be taking place between Latura Street and Beverly Hill Drive, according to the town.
The work this week is part of a larger project to replace the water main under Oak Street, with construction work anticipated to continue through the spring and summer months, according to the town.
