Central One Federal Credit Union will make a sponsorship gift of $750,000 towards the Shrewsbury High School synthetic turf field project.

From Shrewsbury Public Schools: The Campaign for Shrewsbury Athletic Fields is pleased to announce that the Central One Federal Credit Union will make a sponsorship gift of $750,000 towards the Shrewsbury High School synthetic turf field project. Naming rights will be conferred and upon completion of the project the stadium will be named Central One Federal Credit Union Stadium.

This transformational gift is the largest gift to the School Department in Shrewsbury to date. The synthetic turf field with Central One Federal Credit Union logo emblazoned will be the centerpiece of the improved sports complex.

“We are very excited about this gift which will spark our fundraising raising efforts as a catalyst for more donors to help this project become a reality in the very near future. This sponsorship fortifies an already strong model of public-private partnership between our organizations, and it will be an important milestone in significantly improving our athletic facilities for our students," Joseph Sawyer Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools said.
