Shrewsbury Coronavirus: 12 New Positive Cases
Shrewsbury has a total of 357 positive COVID-19 cases.
SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury reported 12 new positive COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases in the town to 357.
The town said public health officials are working closely with the people who tested positive and will notify others that they may have been in contact with.
On Tuesday, Shrewsbury released the findings of the Central Massachusetts Regional Public Health Alliance which conducted an age analysis of positive COVID-19 cases in the town as of July 31.

According to the data, 21 percent of positive cases were in people age 70 or older. The second largest group of positive cases was people between age 20 and 29 with 16 percent of cases in town. The third largest group was people age 50 to 59 with 16 percent as well.
