Shrewsbury Fire Department Hosting Open House
The Oct. 5 event is scheduled in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week.
The Shrewsbury Fire Department invites the public to an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 5.
The event is being held in conjunction with National Fire Safety Month. Local families are invited to the department to learn more about fire safety.
Activities include:
A live demonstration of the Fire Dept. “Jaws of Life” automobile crash rescue tools, as well as:
- “Hazard House” and “Cooking Prop” Demonstrations
- Antique Fire Apparatus and Equipment from the 1800’s on display
- Free Coloring Books, Stickers and Fire Helmets for kids
- Free Papa Gino’s Pizza
