Shrewsbury Moves Forward With Sale Of Former Beal Center Property
The town is accepting requests for proposals for the purchase and development of the Beal Early Childhood Center.

SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury is officially accepting requests for proposals for anyone interested in buying and developing the old Beal Early Childhood Center.
The 97-year-old center located at 1 Maple Ave has 3.5 acres of land and was the learning center for children grades kindergarten through first. The town decided in 2019 to replace the center and construct a new Beal Elementary School at 214 Lake St.
The Beal Reuse Committee acting through the Board of Selectmen announced the opening of requests on Wednesday. Copies of the RFP may be viewed and downloaded from the town website.
