Shrewsbury Police Department Welcomes New Officer

He was sworn in on Monday.

SHREWSBURY, MA — The Shrewsbury Police Department has officially welcomed its newest member.

Officer Jared Locke was sworn in on Monday, according to a news release. He comes from the Holden Police Department, where he served as a patrolman for two years.

Before becoming an officer, Locke had served as a corrections officer.

He also graduated with a degree in criminal justice and is a certified Field Training Officer.
