Shrewsbury Police Look For Bank Robbery Suspect

TD Bank was robbed on Saturday afternoon in Shrewsbury. Police are looking for the suspect, who got away with a bag of cash.

SHREWSBURY, MA—Shrewsbury police are looking to the public to locate a suspect who allegedly robbed a bank on Saturday afternoon.

Shrewsbury police responded to TD Bank on Route 9 around 1:32 p.m. on July 7 for a reported bank robbery.

The suspect passed a note that demanded money, and it also indicated that no one would get hurt of they cooperated. He then left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash that was placed in a Price Chopper bag.

The suspect is described as a white male in his thirties, approximately six feet tall, 230 pounds, slight facial hair growth and wearing a blue Patriots hat. His clothing was a grey Patriots T-shirt (with Tom Brady on it), black sneakers with a white strip around the bottom and glasses.

The suspect fled the area on foot and Shrewsbury Police searched the area but he eluded the police. If anyone has information or recognizes the individual, contact Detective Timothy Finacom of the Shrewsbury Police Detective Bureau at 508-841-8434.
