SHREWSBURY, MA — The Rotary Club of Shrewsbury will bring back its annual spring recycling fundraiser in April, allowing residents to dump items like TVs and microwaves to benefit club activities.

The fundraiser will benefit all club programs, but its prime local initiative is an annual scholarship program. In 2024, the club will give out three $2,000 in scholarships to Shrewsbury graduating seniors.

The spring electronics recycling event will take place on April 7 from noon to 3 p.m. at Shrewsbury Town Hall, 100 Maple Ave. The club will charge $40 per carload of acceptable items, or individual fees for select items like laptops and appliances.
