Shrewsbury Special Olympian Shares Life Experience in Worcester
Ryan Dixon works two jobs and still finds time to participate in sports and games.

When Mark Shriver was in Worcester promoting his new book, he introduced the crowd to a local Special Olympics hero:Â Ryan Dixon.
Dixon, 27, has been competing in the Special Olympics since he was 8 and according to the Worcester Telegram he has won hundreds of medals.
"One of the inspiring parts of Ryan's story is how he came to be employed by Bobby M's Diner," the Telegram says.

Dixon was working in Quinsigamond Community College's hospitality and recreational management program when he discovered his talents for working in a kitchen.
"He said he first thought about becoming a cook when he was a toddler, playing in his pretend kitchen," the Telegram reports.
