Shrewsbury's Annual Scholarship Awards: Application Period Open
Any high school senior living in Shrewsbury can apply for the town scholarship through March.
SHREWSBURY, MA — Shrewsbury's annual scholarship program is now accepting applications from high school seniors graduating in 2024.
The $500 awards are given out each spring to seniors who attend any school but reside in Shrewsbury. The awards go to seniors "with demonstrated character, community service, academic achievement, and financial need," according to the town.
Shrewsbury established the scholarship program in 1995 at Town Meeting. Local residents and businesses donate to the fund each year.
