SHREWSBURY, MA—The city's public buildings will be closed on Jan. 20 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the city announced on its website.

There will be no delay in trash and recycling collections, and buildings will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 8 a.m.
