Stolen Vehicle Recovered in PA, Robbery at Dinky's

The following information was provided by the Shrewsbury Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, April 25

7:50 a.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on Hartford Turnpike. One Male was hospitalized.

9:16 a.m.: A stolen vehicle from Shrewsbury was recovered in Pennsylvania.

12:47 p.m.: A caller reported broken windows at two properties on Hartford Turnpike near the Worcester line.

2:25 p.m.: The Animal Control Officer found a white bike with orange handlebars on Main Street and brought it to the station.

2:53 p.m.: One car was towed after a four-car crash on Main Street.

4:23 p.m.: One person was hospitalized after a one-car crash on Angela Avenue.

5:59 p.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on Lake Street. One of the vehicles had continued on and hit a house. Both vehicles were towed.

6:43 p.m.: The Shrewsbury Fire Department responded to a report of a brush fre on Lakeside Drive.

Friday, April 26

12:23 a.m.: A caller reported vandalism to his vehicle at the White City Shopping Center.

7:22 a.m.: A caller from Dinky’s Restaurant reported that a male and a female stole money and then fled the restaurant. K9 Buzzy assisted in the search but the suspects were not fun.

12:47 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Main Street at Route 290. Valerie Labillois, 43, of 751 Washington St., Apt. 15, Auburn was arrested on charges of operating with a suspended license.

1:32 p.m.: A caller from 27 Yorkshire Terrace reported a break-in. David Lvov, 17, of 31 Yorkshire Ter., Apt. 8 was arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny and malicious destruction of property.

6:03 p.m.: A caller from High Street reported a group of kids in the woods behind his property. An officer spoke with the youths and advised them that they were not allowed to be there anymore.

6:30 p.m.: Two males were taken into protective custody in the Petco parking lot. Their vehicle was towed.

7:11 p.m.: A caller from Price Chopper reported a male causing a disturbance. Officers responded and transported the male to the station where he underwent a medical evaluation.

8:09 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Route 9 and arrested Ellen Adams, 60, of 14 Fairview Ave. on charges of drunken-driving and marked lanes violation.
