UMass Moves Offices From Shrewsbury To Westborough
The move downsizes the state university's administrative footprint while maintaining a presence in central Massachusetts.

SHREWSBURY, MA — The University of Massachusetts has moved its administrative offices from Shrewsbury to a smaller space in Westborough, according to the Boston Business Journal.
The state university system previously leased over 100,000 square-feet at 333 South St., home to functions like UMass human resources and the president's office, and administration offices for the UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester.
The new UMass administrative offices occupy just under 50,000 square-feet at 50 Washington St., according to the business journal. The new UMass office is at the southeast side of the intersection of I-495 and Route 9 near the Dell campus, about 8 miles from the former location in Shrewsbury.
