Why's My Water Off In Shrewsbury?
Certain areas of town might find they're without water for a spell on Wednesday. Here's why.

SHREWSBURY, MA—Nothing coming out of your faucets? Not to worry. It's short-lived and for good reason.
Shrewsbury's water department is doing some main gate replacement work on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the intersection of Francis Ave. and Paton Road, as well as the intersection of Patron Road and Summers Street between Holly Lane to Eastwood Road, all of Hillcrest Ave. and Francis Ave. from Paton Road to Flanagan Drive from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It's possible, according to officials, that the area may extend out even further if the valves don't fully hold.
